MUSIC CURATION SERVICES

I provide music curation services for brands who wish to integrate music and playlist content into their marketing and promotional campaigns. Not only is it an easy and effective addition to your content schedule, but curated music content is also one of the best ways for your brand to reach your customers when they’re not in front of a screen.

Anybody can make an average playlist, but average doesn’t move the needle. It takes someone with a massive library of categorized music and a deep understanding of musical chemistry to make a playlist that people LOVE. And when you give your customers that one-of-a-kind feeling of falling in love with a new song or artist, they will thank you, and they will love you too.

Music is emotional, it connects people, and it’s deeply integrated into people’s lives. For brands who want to strengthen their relationship with their customers, music content can be a very effective way of doing that.

Then I curate your playlists and will check back with you a week before your next scheduled playlist update.

ONE-OFF PLAYLISTS

A one-off playlist can be used alongside a specific marketing campaign, at a product launch event, for a brand announcement, or as a piece of content.

ONE PLAYLIST

This could be a general brand playlist, a playlist for a product or service, music for your store or office, or music for a certain activity your customers engage in.

TWO PLAYLISTS

This is the best way to get interactive content for two different product or service categories AND to give your fans both sides of a musical story.

THREE PLAYLISTS

This package works for brands that have more than two products or experiences they want to provide music for. Or if you simply want to mix and match various playlist types.

FOUR PLAYLISTS

The Four Playlist package is for when you want music content for a wide variety of playlists for different producots or marketing campaigns.

SPECIFICS

* An update means that all songs in the playlist are replaced with new songs. Alternatively, I can just add X amount of new songs onto the playlist until it gets to a certain size.

* The “2 Updates Per Month” add-on is only available for 25 and 50 song playlists. The “4 Updates Per Month” add-on is only available for 25 song playlists.

+ DO I REALLY NEED TO PAY SOMEONE FOR THIS?

You may be thinking, “Anybody from my team can curate playlists right?” Well, yes, but there’s a different between nuanced quality music curation, and standard playlist making.

If you want your brand to be promoting playlists full of music that everyone has heard countless times before, then my services are not right for you. However, if you want a playlist that will excite and impress your customers with new sounds that they love, along with sounds they’re already familiar with, then you need to hire someone who's an experienced music curator.

+ WHAT MUSIC GENRES DO YOU CURATE WITHIN?

Because I am first and foremost a music fan, I focus on my favorite genres that are also popular and trending at the moment. I specialize in pop, hip hop, R&B, electronic, future bass, all sub genres of house, techno, electro pop, synth pop, indietronica (the blend of live band and electronic), indie pop, and indie rock. I don’t curate within EDM, trance, dubstep, trap, latin, country, folk and acoustic, reggae, heavy metal, alternative rock, classical, jazz, blues, classic rock, or any decade specific genres.

+ WHAT IS YOUR CURATION STRATEGY?

Over the years, I’ve developed very specific proprietary strategies for developing playlists that will appeal to the widest market of people. I use a specific mix of well known and up-and-coming songs, I balance specific genres based on music trends, and I utilize the right blend of recent releases and slightly older favorites. I only specialize in contemporary music from the past few years. By only using new music, then it means your content stays fresh and can consistently be updated.

Connecting with your customers through music is a long term process. Time and time again, they should be able to come to your brand for new and exciting music. Matching up your music content with your marketing campaigns and keeping it freshly updated will ensure this program's effectiveness.

+ WHOW SHOULD I MEASURE THIS PROGRAM'S SUCCESS?

The most measurable metrics will be playlist subscribers and general feedback from your customers. The second most important metric will be additional followers on your brand’s social accounts. Well curated music content has the power to attract new customers as well.
